The BJK Black Eagle - Vodafone Park, Istanbul

Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club (BJK) was founded in 1903 as the first sports club in Turkey and this new nest of the ‘Black Eagle’ is the first smart stadium of Turkey. The fan group of Beşiktaş, nicknamed the “CARSI”, holds a significant importance in the current socio-cultural and political matters of the country and for BJK itself. With its closed, open, semi-open areas for sports, service, recreation, trade and culture, Vodafone Park builds on the urban influence and location of the old stadium as a seaside stadium thru the Bosphorus, with the largest ‘Eagle Nest’ souvenir shop, Vodafone GSM Center, meeting and congress halls, restaurants and cafes, Beşiktaş Museum, music studio, ballroom, terraces, lighting design,  and nightscape.
