Finance Center
Istanbul International Finance Center
The Istanbul International Finance Center (IIFC) takes advantages of existing metropolitan and local transportation, architectural, economic, and cultural systems of Istanbul to become an integrated mega-project and a sustainable finance center. IIFC has 69 hectares project area that is located at Anatolian side of İstanbul on the crossing of two major vehicular axes of the city, i.e., TEM and D-100 highways, and along the metro lane. The main target of the IIFC is not only being a crucial center for Istanbul and Turkey but also taking a significant part in International Finance and Business Community of the World.
The IIFC has been divided into four quarters: culture; commerce; community; and administration. Major infrastructure developments include a brand-new structuring of a subway route and its stations as well as sustainable energy, water line, communication line, and security network systems. All streets and squares have similar design approach, color schemas, and material selections. In design of green belt between the roads and IIFC, a planting design serves for reducing noise and undesirable views. On the other side, the service areas like school, mosque, kindergarten, and bazaar work for IIFC.
